Adding a Site

To add a new site to your Axo Analytics account:
  1. Go to the menu on the top right and navigate to Settings
  2. Select Sites.
  3. Click on the Add site button at the top of the page.
  4. Enter a name for the site (this is for internal use and does not need to match the site’s URL).
  5. Copy the provided embed code and add it to your website.
Upon creation, Axo Analytics assigns a unique Site identifier to the site, which is used in the embed code. The site will appear on your Sites page in Settings, in the dashboard’s site dropdown, and be available for sharing or generating email reports.

Deleting a Site

To remove a site from your account, you can delete it, which permanently erases all associated data and events. This action is irreversible, so ensure you are certain before proceeding. To delete a site:
  1. Go to the menu on the top right and navigate to Settings
  2. Click Sites.
  3. Select the site you wish to delete.
  4. Click Manage.
  5. Click the Delete site button.
  6. Confirm in the confirmation dialog box.
Once deleted, the site’s dashboard and email reports will no longer be accessible.

Wiping a Site

If you want to retain the Site identifier and event structure but remove all associated data (e.g., pageviews), you can wipe the site. This preserves the Site identifier but deletes all collected data. To wipe a site:
  1. Go to the menu on the top right and navigate to Settings
  2. Click Sites.
  3. Select the site you want to wipe.
  4. Click Manage.
  5. Click the Wipe data button.
  6. Confirm in the confirmation dialog box.
After wiping, the site’s dashboard and email reports will no longer display the deleted data.
